The earliest texts printed in Kalanga were translations of the bible, catechisms and hymn books. A few years ago, Nambya textbooks were introduced into primary schools.
The summary of the new constitution has also been translated into Nambya.
Currently there is an effort to collect proverbs and stories from oral traditions, and we are pleased to present some stories and other texts here.
